Hi everyone! It seems like some people were struggling to hear some of the hotkeys I was using in today's coding club. Here is a list of some very helpful ones! - E - Extrude: Very useful! Must remember this one as you will use it a lot. It 'extrudes' a face or selection outwards.
- F - Face: This forms a face between the selected edges or vertices.
- G - Grab: This 'grabs' the selection for free movement.
- R - Rotate: This rotates the selection in any way.
- S - Scale: This modifies the size of the selection.
- N - Navigation: This brings up the navigation menu. (I think it's called that) This is where you find the 'Background Images' checkbox.
- X - Delete: This deletes the selection.
While scaling, rotating, grabbing and extruding, you can press these keys to lock to a certain axis:
- X - Locks to the 'X' axis.
- Y - Locks to the 'Y' axis.
- Z - Locks to the 'Z' axis.
Try and remember as many of these as possible as they are very helpful. I will add more if I find them!
